Conditions of Entry

    How to Enter:

  1. Participants may enter the competition by completing the catalogue survey, plus tell us what you think of the Howards Storage World (2011) Catalogue in 25 words or less.
  2. Limit of one entry per participant and one valid e-mail address per person.
  3. Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
  4. Entries are valid to Australian residents only.

    5. Catalogue Prize Draw dates:

  5. The Competition starts on 11:59 (midnight) 7th December, 2010 (EST).
  6. The Competition ends 11:59 (midnight) on 13th February, 2011 (EST).  

    7. Prizes:

  7. The total prize pack available to be won is valued at $354.65 (RRP).
  8.  The prize pack includes all products from pages 14 and 15 from the Howards Storage World 2011 catalogue.     10. How to Win:

  10. This is a judged competition. The number of entries, chance or random draw will not determine the winners;
  11. Only one entry per person permitted.
  12. Incomplete, illegible entries will be deemed invalid and will be discarded. 
  13. Participants must describe why they like the Howards Storage World (2011) Catalogue in 25 words or less.

    14. Judging of Winners

  14. A Howards Storage World Judging Panel consisting of 3 Howards Storage World employees will determine the three winners.
  15. The Howards Storage World Judging Panel will consider reasoning, accuracy, literacy and creative merit.
  16. The judges’ decision in regard to the winner is discretionary;
  17. The Howards Storage World Judging Panel will determine the best entrant and their decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into;
  18. Judging will take place between February 14 2011 and February 28 2011 (2 weeks)

    19. Announcement of the Winner

  19. The prize draw will take place on February 29 2011 at 10 am (EST) at no.4, 49 Frenchs Forest Rd, Frenchs Forest NSW 2086.
  20. The winner will be notified after the completion of the judging period, from February 29 2011.
  21. The winner will be notified by e-mail or phone and mail and their names will be posted on the Howards Storage World website from March 1 2011.
  22. If any prize is unclaimed, an additional judgement will be conducted 3 months after the announcement of the original winners. This unclaimed prize judgement will take place from May 30 2011 at 10 am at no.4, 49 Frenchs Forest Rd, Frenchs Forest NSW 2086. The winner will be notified by e-mail and their name will be published on the Howards Storage World website from May 30 2011.
  23. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry.
  24. All winners agree to grant Howards Storage World and its associated promotional partners permission to use their name and suburb for purposes of announcing and promoting the winners.
  25. The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this Promotion by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the Promotion or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
  26. Prizes or portions thereof are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation. In the event for any reason a prize winner does not take a portion or element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that portion or element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that portion or element of the prize.
  27. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state and territory, where required.
  28. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer network, or lines, servers or internet providers, traffic congestion on any computer network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to Eligible Participants or any other person’s computer related or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communications or of any materials in this competition.
  29. The Promoter and its associated partners accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of this Promotion results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
  30. Each entry becomes the property of the Promoter. All details will be held in accordance with the Howards Storage World Privacy Policy and will not be disclosed to any third parties. The information entrants provide may used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this Promotion. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this Promotion or communicating with entrants and to State and Territory gaming authorities and winner’s name may be published as required under the relevant legislation. Entry into the promotion constitutes your consent to any personal information to be used by Howards Storage World and its associated promotional partners for customer database and marketing offers. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and or voice in the event of winning (including photograph, film and or recordings of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purposes of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactures, distributed and or supplied by the Promoter.
  32. Partaking in this competition signifies acceptance of all conditions. The Promoter’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right to limit entry or amend rules if considered necessary without notice.
